I believe I've found a good method to get enough hot water for a decent bath, seeing as the hot water heater in our house is not up to the task. What do you think? Tried it Saturday night.Effectiveness: Worked like a charm. Just the right size.
Safety: Medium. An urn of boiling water should be handled with care.
Cost: Cheap; about $30 for a new one (but free at the moment, since I borrowed a seldom-used one from the office for testing purposes!)
Convenience: Medium. Yes, it takes a good 20 minutes to heat up, but you can just fill it, plug it in, and go do something else. That beats a whistling tea kettle.

i thought about suggesting that but i was not sure how safe it was! well, as long as you are careful.. i feel blessed that i have such a wonderful hot water tank here, bigger than i have ever had in any other small space. i can take a shower and run the dish washer around the same time...
