That's Max - Bob & Lisa's golden retriever, and the unofficial mascot of our small group. He was pretty excited about going hiking with us. We had to tie him up while we climbed the fire tower (136 steps... but you can see 100 miles in every direction from there). He didn't howl or bark, but when we got down we discovered he'd chewed halfway through his leash. I haven't seen anyone else's pictures yet but I think we all ended up with more pictures of Max than of each other.
